Erica Jade’s Favorite Fall Treat

Guys, I didn’t want to write a whole long thing about this recipe, but when you discover the PERFECT FALL DESSERT after weeks of testing recipes, how could you not want to shout about it from the rooftops?? I’m talking about a dessert that starts with natural ingredients that you probably already have, is sweet without a ton of added sugar, and doesn’t require ANY fancy cooking equipment. That sounds too good to be true, right? What if I told you that on top of all that awesomeness, it clocks in at LESS THAN ONE HUNDRED CALORIES PER SERVING??
You might be thinking that I’m making this up, or that I made this with a bunch of low-cal high-chemical ingredients, but honestly? This dessert is like renting a hybrid for your tropical beach vacay; all the fun but with added practicality. It was perfect for when I wanted to treat myself to a little something after leaving my Tuesday night vinyasa yoga practice, and my hubby loved it in his lunch as a little surprise at work the next day too. You guys HAVE to make this. It’s just that simple and amazing! Make sure you tag me on Instagram when you do, I love going through everyone’s yummy stories!
Erica Jade’s Favorite Fall Treat
Erica says: “Honestly, this tastes just like fall exploding into your mouth. Try it at your next get-together!”
Ingredients: (Serves four)
Four apples, any variety
Four teaspoons cinnamon (optional; leave out if you don’t like your food spicy!)
Directions:
Step One
Using a paring knife, cut the apples into your preferred shape and size
Step Two
Arrange the apple pieces on your favorite fall-themed plate in whatever shape calls to you
Step Three
If using, sprinkle the four teaspoons of cinnamon evenly onto the apple pieces. The cinnamon may cause the apple slices to look more brown the longer they sit out, but with a fall treat this perfect, they won’t be around for too long!
Step Four
Serve immediately or store in refrigerator until dessert time
Storage:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Dessert stays fresh for three to four days.
